Q. Do we have to pay a deposit at the time of the booking?
A. A 50% deposit is required at the time of the booking to secure it. We accept all major credit cards except American Express and Diners.  The balance is due on departure

 

Q. Can I send you a cheque to pay for the deposit?
A. We accept cheque payment as long as it is received a minimum of 14 days prior to the date of your stay

 

Q. Are you open all year?
A. We are open from 1st April – 1st October

 

Q. What time can I check in?
A. Check in time is between 3pm – 5pm

 

Q. What time is check out?
A. Check out time is 10.45am

 

Q. If we are arriving by train and it is before 3pm can we check in earlier?
A. If your room is ready before 3pm then we would be happy to check you in prior to the check in time

 

Q. What if I arrive early and my room is not ready?
A.  We are more than happy to store your luggage if you arrive before whilst you take a walk around the grounds or head off exploring the area

 

Q. Do you serve evening meals at the Castle?
A. We do not serve evening meals at the Castle.  There are many great restaurants and pubs in the nearby village of Plockton

 

Q. Is there a bar at the Castle?
A. There is no bar at the Castle

 

Q. Is there parking at the Castle?
A. There is parking at the Castle and free of charge

 

Q. What is your cancelation policy?
A. We require a 50% deposit of the value of your stay to secure your booking.  Should you cancel less than 21 days before the date of your first nights stay, we will retain this deposit.  If you are able to cancel your booking more than 21 days prior to your first nights stay, we will refund the deposit to you
